The meeting to create ???????̃? ????????????? ?? ??????́ ?? ?????????????? ?? ????́????? ??????́????? was held today at CCDR Alentejo. The session was attended in Évora by representatives from CCDR Alentejo, from ?????, from ??̂????? ?????????? ?? ????, ?́????, ???̂????? ? ????? ?? ???, the AED Cluster Portugal, IEFP and a wide range of Andalusian entities that are present remotely.
This initiative falls under the project “????? ????”, approved by the Management Committee of Interreg V A Spain Portugal (POCTEP), funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), at its meeting on 29/6/2022, aims to integrate and improve the competitiveness of the aeronautical cluster in the Andalusia-Alentejo cross-border region, however this initiative intends to assume a permanent character that goes beyond the implementation period of this and other projects.
The main objective is to ensure the creation and consolidation of a permanent forum for cooperation through a Monitoring Committee made up of the most representative entities of the sector at the cross-border level, and that allows coordinated progress in different lines of work. In parallel with the identification of concrete themes for future collaboration, aligned with the priorities and challenges of the territory and also with those of the European Union, raising awareness and involving the relevant institutional actors in the Andalusia-Alentejo cross-border area, for the importance of the aeronautical sector (recognized by EREI 2030) and the need for support.
