The AED Days 2019 were held this week, between the 28th and 30th October, at Taguspark (Oeiras, Lisbon).
Gathering over 400 participantes, from over 200 companies, the event was a great success, having the presence and speeches from high representatives from the Portuguese Government:
- Minister for National Defence, João Gomes Cravinho
- Secretary of State for Economy, João Neves
- Secretary of State for Internacionalizaiton, Eurico Brilhante Dias
At Taguspark, the highlight was also the participation of an enthusiastic panel of speakers, who provided the audience with their perspectives on the present and future challenges of the sectors:
Many of these industry “giants” were also available to talk about business opportunities during the B2B meeting sessions with the Portuguese industrial and scientific companies, as was the case with Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Leonardo, OGMA, Safran e Stelia.
During the AED Days 2019, big news for Portugal were also announced: Stelia, a company of the Airbus group, will settle in Portugal, investing 40 million Euros in a manufacturing unit (assembly line) in Santo Tirso, Porto.
