Attracting future engineers and young talent to the aerospace sector is not an easy task. It is for this purpose that AED Cluster Portugal has been increasingly involved with students from areas related to the Aeronautics, Space and Defense industries, and in recent weeks AED participated in two university events:
- AeroWeek (8-10 February)
Organised by Aeroatla, the students group of Aerospace Engineering at Atlântica – University Institute, this event enabled us to engage with many students and future aerospace professionals that visited our stand and that participated on the Cluster’s seminar, by our General Manager Rui Santos at the Auditorium.
Atlântica is part of the Portuguese Cluster and we also had the opportunity to talk with Manuel Freitas, President of the Institute, to catch up on our member’s most recent activities and witness the growth of its aerospace related courses.
