This Wednesday, 1 July, an entourage from AED Cluster Portugal had the opportunity to visit the Industrial, Port and Logistic Park of Sines. The delegation consisted of Mr. José Neves (Board President), Mr. Tiago Pardal (Vice-President) and Mr. Rui Santos (General Manager).
The purpose of this visit was to get to know this infrastructure with growing dynamics and to discuss the evident synergies between the national ecosystem of Aeronautics, Space and Defence and the Port of Sines, which could be an important ally in the strong export pending that the national market of these sectors presents.
During the visit, the representatives of the AED were kindly received by the management of the various entities that embody the CPLS (Sines Port and Logistics Community):

- Director of ZILS (Industrial and Logistic Zone of Sines), Miguel Borralho;
- Board President of APS (Ports of Sines and Algarve Autohority), Luís Cacho;
- Systems, Planning and Communication Director of APS, Luís Miguel Silva;
- President of CPLS, Jorge d’Almeida.
CPLS, whose mission is to promote the development of the park and attract new investments to the port area and in its industrial and logistics environment, identified the aeronautical sector as one of the strategic and priority sectors in the use of the Port of Sines.
