Cluster gathers with Airbus Defence & Space
Visit to the Toulouse headquarters was led by the Ministery of Science.
The AED Cluster Portugal was invited to join a Portuguese Delegation visit to the headquarters of ADS (Airbus Defence & Space), led by the Minister of Science Technology and Higher Education, Mr. Manuel Heitor, along with the Head of the newly born national space agency (Portugal Space), Ms. Chiara Manfletti. Several industry and academic representatives were the core of the delegation that was hosted by Mr. Nicolas Chamussy, the Executive Vice President of ADS.
The focus of the visit was twofold, on the upstream side the massification of micro satellites production and, on the downstream side, the opportunities of Earth Observation services.
