On February 22nd, an Industry Day took place with Damen, a multinational with more than 35 shipyards and a presence in 120 countries, spread across 5 continents.
The event, which took place at the Academia do Arsenal do Alfeite, was organized by AED Cluster Portugal, IdD Portugal Defence and AICEP Portugal Global and its main objective was to encourage the integration of Portuguese industry into the supply chain of DAMEN.
Throughout the morning, participants had the opportunity to attend relevant presentations from DAMEN, AED Cluster Portugal, Thales and EID and were also able to meet during the networking lunch, where it was also possible to exchange first contacts and impressions.
Then, in the afternoon, B2B meetings between 30 entities and representatives of DAMEN followed, with the aim of promoting future partnerships and synergies.
In short, the event made it possible to bring together more than 70 entities from the national scientific and technological, business and associative system, providing a distinct forum for the exchange of ideas and potential collaborations.
