The Portuguese Cluster for the Aeronautics, Space and Defense industries (AED Cluster Portugal) has a new Board of Directors, elected by its +80 associates, in the end March. The electoral process finished and was recognized officially today, with the renewal of José Neves as President. Thus, the Cluster guarantees a bet on the continuity of its strategy, with more than half of the members of the previous mandate.
For the 2021-2023 term, AED also proposes to invest in the Space sector, with the acquisition of new members across the Sectorial Space Commission, while guaranteeing, at the same time, a consolidated and transversal strategy between the three sectors of activity.
“The Cluster has been able to carry out, over the past few years, excellent work in the three industries in which it operates. Through a cohesive and representative board of the national ecosystem, aggregating members from various types of entities (large companies, SMEs, research centers, etc.) and operating on several fronts, we have been able to achieve our mission and outline new strategic goals for positioning the sectors in the national and international panorama. This new mandate foresees the consolidation of the current strategies but also a major bet in other growing initiatives of this sector. It is with a sense of responsibility and pride that we embrace another mandate.”, states José Neves, President of AED Cluster Portugal.
