The 53rd edition of the International Paris Air Show was a success for the 34 Portuguese companies (and more than 60 representatives) that were able to be present.
During the 5 professional days of the event, the national stand was always busy with meetings and activities planned by the organising partners (AED Cluster Portugal, aicep Portugal Global, idD – National Defense Platform, Portugal Space).
On the first day, Monday 17th June, the “Portugal Day” took place at the national booth, with the presence and speeches from the Minister for National Defense, the Minister for Science, Technology and Higher Education, the Secretary of State for Internationalisation and the Portuguese Ambassador to France. A brilliant human frame ended a day of strengthening relations between the industry and the government and to foster connections with international players.
On the second day, Tuesday 18th June, in the morning we had presentations from the organising partners and from the companies that were exhibiting under the national stand (Active Space Technologies, AeroMec, FHP, Flexcraft Consortium and PIEP).
In the afternoon, a meeting between the Portuguese and French companies took place at the GIFAS Chalet, with the presence from Mr. Eurico Brilhante Dias, the Secretary of State for Internationalisation.

Also to highlight that AEDCP participated in the celebration of EACP’s 10 years anniversary, at the Hamburg Aviation booth, with the presence of the Hamburg Mayor, having been recognized by our leadership role on the Skills Working Group (through Mr. Carlos Maio, from QSR Consulting).
