AED Cluster Portugal was present at EURONAVAL 2024, one of the leading international exhibitions focused on maritime and technological innovation, held from 4 to 7 November at Paris Nord Villepinte.
This participation took place under the scope of the Global Connect project, co-financed by Compete 2030 and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through an institutional national stand (Hall 6, Stand B43) aimed at promoting the capabilities and innovation of the participating Portuguese entities.
The Portugal Pavilion hosted, alongside AED’s institutional stand, six national organisations – Beyondcomposite, OceanScan-MST, blueOASIS, TEKEVER, Vera Navis and Beyond Vision – representing various areas of technological excellence and expertise within the maritime, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
During the exhibition, AED also hosted an institutional networking reception, which was honoured by the presence of the Portuguese Minister of National Defence, the Portuguese Ambassador to Paris, the Secretary of State for National Defence, and the Chief of Staff of the Portuguese Navy, highlighting the national commitment to innovation and international collaboration.
AED’s participation at EURONAVAL 2024 strengthened Portugal’s positioning on the international stage, fostering collaboration opportunities and showcasing the high-level capabilities of the organisations within the AED Cluster Portugal ecosystem.
