Project summary: This Agenda was designed to strengthen and empower the national value chain, which expands and begins to participate in the complete processes of a manned aircraft and an unmanned aircraft, conceived, developed, industrialized, and marketed from Portugal, thus granting the country a decision-making power that was previously nonexistent.

Project objectives: The Aero.Next Portugal Agenda aims to reinforce Portugal’s position in the aeronautical value chain and consolidate the associated cluster through complete, complex, and high value-added products. To achieve this, it will ensure Portugal’s mastery over the phases of design, development, industrialization, and commercialization, making the country a significant decision-making center in aeronautics, reducing its dependence on external sources, and triggering strong ripple effects in the national economy.
