AED Cluster Portugal took part in the international trade fair MRO Europe 2024, held in Barcelona from 22 to 24 October. As one of the largest European events dedicated to the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of commercial aircraft, MRO Europe served as a key platform where AED led the Portuguese delegation.
The national stand, coordinated by AED Cluster Portugal, welcomed ten Portuguese entities and gathered over twenty national participants, including companies, institutional representatives and organisations from the aeronautics ecosystem.
This participation was supported by the Global Connect project and aimed to foster new business and collaboration opportunities for the Portuguese aerospace sector. Over the course of the three-day event, various networking activities, strategic meetings and key conference sessions took place, addressing the main challenges and trends within the MRO sector.
MRO Europe 2024 represented a unique opportunity to showcase the Portuguese offer, strengthen the international network of contacts, and identify new growth opportunities for national companies.
Through this initiative, AED Cluster Portugal continues to actively promote the internationalisation of the national aeronautics sector, supporting companies in expanding their global reach.
