From November 17 to 21, AED Cluster Portugal will mark its first-ever participation in the Dubai Airshow, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious aerospace events. This year’s edition will bring together over 1,500 exhibitors, including more than 440 new participants, approximately 490 official delegations, and over 148,000 industry professionals from 150 countries. More than 200 aircraft will be on display throughout the event.
AED Cluster Portugal’s participation is part of the Global Connect Project, co-financed by COMPETE 2030 through FEDER, and will be represented by an institutional stand designed to strengthen the visibility and international positioning of the Portuguese aerospace sector. Adjacent to the AED Cluster Portugal stand, four companies will also be showcased: Municipality of Ponte de Sor, Speedbird Aero Europe, Beyond Vision, and Aerohelice.
With the aim of strengthening networking and promoting engagement with international partners and organisations, the “Portugal Networking Cocktail” will take place on 18 November at 3:00 p.m., an initiative organised by the AED Cluster Portugal, which will feature the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Portugal to the United Arab Emirates, Dr Fernando Figueirinhas.
This participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025 reaffirms the national commitment to the internationalisation of its industry, highlighting innovation and the strengthening of strategic partnerships across the Aeronautics, Space and Defence sectors.
