The AED Cluster Portugal was present at the EDF Info Days 2025, which took place on 2 and 3 April in Brussels. This event, promoted by the European Commission, is a reference in the defence sector and aims to present the funding opportunities of the European Defence Fund (EDF) for next year.
We are pleased to note the strong Portuguese participation in this edition, with more than 25 participants in person and more than 100 following online. In total, the event attracted more than 5,000 participants, both in person and virtually, highlighting the growing importance of the EDF for the sector.
AED’s participation in these events is essential for strengthening the national industry’s position in the European defence ecosystem, and was an opportunity to meet and strengthen dialogue with various European defence stakeholders, promoting collaboration between national and international entities. This edition was particularly important for giving visibility to the capabilities of Portuguese companies and institutions, encouraging their active participation in the funding opportunities available.
