AED Cluster Portugal will take part in the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show, one of the world’s leading events in the Aerospace sector, taking place from June 16 to 22 in Le Bourget, Paris.
The national pavilion, located in Hall 2B, stand B64, will host several high-level institutional engagements. On the opening day, June 16 at 12:30 PM (local time), the stand will receive an official visit from the Portuguese Minister of National Defence, Nuno Melo; the Secretary of State for Defence, Álvaro Castelo Branco; and the Chief of Staff of the Portuguese Air Force, General Cartaxo Alves.
A key highlight of AED Cluster Portugal’s participation will be the signing of a cooperation protocol with GIFAS (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales), aimed at strengthening ties between the Portuguese and French aerospace industries and fostering new business and collaboration opportunities. The signing ceremony is scheduled for June 17 at 11:30 AM.
This event represents a strategic opportunity to showcase the national industry’s expertise, technological capabilities, and innovative solutions to a highly specialized international audience.
The national pavillion is divided between the AED Cluster Portugal stand, organized under the scope of the Global Connect Project, financed by COMPETE 2030 and FEDER, and eight stands from direct exhibitors.
To support networking and facilitate international connections, the “Portugal Networking Cocktail” will be held on June 17 at 12:00 PM. This initiative is organized by AED Cluster Portugal and idD Portugal Defence, with the institutional support of AICEP – the Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency.
Portugal’s participation in the Paris Air Show 2025 reflects its continued commitment to the internationalization of its industry, with a strong focus on innovation and the consolidation of strategic partnerships in the Aerospace, Space, and Defence sectors.
