The AED Cluster Portugal and the Portuguese Armed Forces General Staff (EMGFA) organized the 3rd edition of Domínio Espaço na Defesa, with the support of Portugal Space and idD Portugal Defence, at Instituto Universitário Militar (IUM), on September 16.
The event gathered representatives from the Armed Forces, research centers, companies, and government organizations to debate the role of space in defense and security, and to foster opportunities for cooperation between strategic sectors.
The program featured interventions from the EMGFA, Navy, Army, and Air Force, along with conferences and panels dedicated to operational and strategic priorities in the space domain. The agenda also included a networking lunch and B2B meetings, encouraging dialogue between companies and key stakeholders in the sector.
This edition emphasized the growing importance of space in national sovereignty and security, aligning perspectives, enhancing capabilities, and driving forward projects with international relevance.
