AED Cluster Portugal participated in Space Tech Expo Europe 2024, with an institutional stand for Portugal, from 19 to 21 November in Bremen, Germany, within the context of the Global Connect project, funded by Compete 2030 and the FEDER.
The presence of AED Cluster Portugal at the fair represented an opportunity to engage with several international actors in the space sector, allowing the projection of the image, skills and current dynamics of the national ecosystem.
The Portuguese visitors present at Space Tech Expo Europe 2024 visited the AED’s stand, including representatives of several companies that contribute to the excellence of the national ecosystem in the areas of design, manufacturing, testing and integration of mechanical and thermal hardware (FHP), metal additive manufacturing (Hypermetal), optical systems and space hardware (Lusospace), as well as customized impact absorption solutions (SpacEngineer).
Thus, we can conclude that the Portuguese participation in Space Tech Expo Europe 2024 was a success at all levels. The AED Cluster Portugal has strengthened the position of national companies in the European and international space market, promoting access to new business opportunities and collaboration in technological innovation projects.
Participations of this type also provide a privileged opportunity to expand perspectives and identify new strategic directions, allowing a deeper understanding of the dynamics, demands and innovations that shape the global space market.
