A total of almost 700 participants, representing more than 300 companies from more than 20 different countries, had the unique opportunity to meet, virtually and physically, to discuss the present and future challenges of the Aeronautics, Space and Defence sectors, meet the main national and international players in these industries and look for partnerships and business opportunities.
The first day of the AED Days 2022 was held at Taguspark, where enlightening debates took place, with the presence of many distinguished guests, such as the Minister of Economy and Sea, António Costa e Silva, the Minister of Infrastructures and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, the Secretary of State for Defence, Marco Capitão Ferreira, the Member of the European Parliament (Committee for Industry, Research and Energy), Maria da Graça Carvalho, the CEMFA, General João Cartaxo Alves, the Vice-CEMA, Vice-Admiral António Coelho Cândido and many more.
It was an excellent week with many activities, both physical and digital, from wich we highlight the very insightful and motivating speeches from the main international players of the Aeronautics, Space and Defence sectors and the many business meetings that we hope will lead to a good result in the near future.
It was greta to return officially to a face-to-face network onsite and at the official dinner, with the presence and presentation of Dr. Paulo Portas, former Portuguese Minister for Defence.
