AED Cluster Portugal is a partner of the GICA 2026 Autumn Conference, which will take place in Lisbon between 9 and 11 November 2026, strengthening the connection between Portugal’s Aeronautics, Space and Defence ecosystem and the international industrial cooperation community.
Organised by the Global Industrial Cooperation Association (GICA), the conference will take place at the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel under the theme “Industrial Cooperation in a New Geopolitical Era”. The event will provide an international forum for dialogue between industry and government representatives on industrial cooperation, industrial participation and partnership programmes.
Strengthening international industrial cooperation
The partnership with GICA is aligned with AED Cluster Portugal’s role as the national cluster for the Aeronautics, Space and Defence industries and with its work to strengthen the international positioning and competitiveness of the Portuguese ecosystem.
By supporting the GICA 2026 Autumn Conference in Portugal, AED Cluster Portugal contributes to creating closer links between national organisations and an international network focused on industrial cooperation, knowledge exchange and the development of partnerships between industry and institutions.
GICA provides a global forum for industry and government leaders to exchange practices, policy developments and experience related to Industrial Cooperation and Partnership programmes. The 2026 Autumn Conference will bring this community to Lisbon for three days of discussion and professional engagement.
