AED Cluster Portugal participated in Space Tech Expo Europe 2025 as part of the official Portugal pavilion, held from 18–20 November in Bremen, Germany. The participation, integrated within the Global Connect project and funded by Compete 2030 and FEDER, took place in Hall 4, stand C09, and served as a strategic opportunity to reinforce national visibility and representation within the international space sector.
Throughout the three-day event, AED promoted the Portuguese space ecosystem at Europe’s largest space technology exhibition. Highlights included the Portugal Networking Cocktail, featuring remarks from João Batista, Consul General of Portugal in Hamburg; Rui Boavista Marques, Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Portugal / AICEP Portugal Global; and Ricardo Conde, President of Portugal Space. Other key moments included a visit to the Portugal stand by the Catalan delegation, the visit of the Danish delegation, as well as numerous meetings and newly established contacts.
These interactions enabled AED Cluster Portugal to strengthen the international reach of national capabilities, showcasing the quality, innovation, and dynamism of Portuguese companies in the space sector. The participation also contributed to the consolidation of strategic relationships and the opening of doors to future collaborations.
Portugal’s presence at Space Tech Expo Europe 2025 proved to be a comprehensive success, reinforcing the position of national companies in the European and global space markets.
