Over the past weeks, the Portuguese Aeronautics, Space and Defence industry had the opportunity to stregnthen relations with very important players of these sectors: Airbus, Leonardo, Thales and West Sea.
In a joint effort with idD Portugal Defence and the companies menitoned above, AED Cluster Portugal promoted a cycle of events (“Industry Days”) focused on engaging the national ecosystem in the supply chain of major players in the aerospace and defence domains:
- with Leonardo, on the 23rd of November;
- with Airbus, on the 26th of November;
- with West Sea, on the 10th of December.
Through a day divided in a Conference (morning), a Networking Lunch and previously arranged B2B Meetings (afternoon), the purpose was to promote business opportunities between both sides.
The Leonardo and Airbus “Industry Days” were held in a physical phormat, at Forte de São Julião da Barra, Oeiras, with the organisation of the event shared with idD Portugal. The West Sea “Industry Day” was held virtually, but with the same dynamic, and being organised and promoted by AED Cluster Portugal.
The Defence companies had an extra “Industry Day” with Thales, organised and promoted by idD on the 9th of November.
