An Industry Day with VZLU took place yesterday, on the 1st of October 2024.
The event, held at the Museum of the Orient, was organised by AED Cluster Portugal and brought together 16 members of the sector, with the aim of exploring potential partnerships and synergies with the Czech Aerospace Research Centre (VZLU), focused on the area of Advanced Air Mobility, with applications in both civil and defence sectors.
Among the 16 participants, there were technological centres and companies from various segments of the aerospace industry, ranging from industrial bases to integrated solutions providers.
The event began with presentations from both entities, starting with the Czech Aerospace Research Centre, followed by a quick roundtable for the AED members to introduce themselves.
We continued with the presentation of the MiYA project, which is being developed by VZLU, followed by a networking lunch that allowed members to exchange ideas and insights with the present entities.
The afternoon concluded with the remaining presentation of the MiYA project, followed by a discussion and idea-sharing session, and finally, the drafting of an action plan.
In summary, this meeting was more than just an exchange of ideas; it was an opportunity for our members and VZLU to discover joint paths for innovation and development in the aerospace sector.
International collaboration is key to continuing to drive the growth and competitiveness of our industry.
