AED Cluster Portugal, in partnership with idD Portugal Defence, promoted a Portuguese Stand at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA 2024) from 22 to 26 July.
The national stand featured 19 national entities, 9 exhibitors, and 46 representatives.
Aeronext, AVP, Beyond Vision, CCG, Citeve, Fibrenamics, FLY.PT, Tekever, and ISQ participated as exhibitors at the Portuguese Stand. Additionally to these organisations, were also joined a Portuguese trade delegation composed by the following entities: Aeromec, aicep Portugal, Alma Design, Ponte de Sôr City Council, CODI, OGMA, PIEP, Sodarca, Trisolaris, Vesam, and Kit-Air was present.
The Portugal Day at the stand was particularly noteworthy, highlighted by the launch of Beyond Vision’s innovative Drone BVQ 418, which was tested in real-time at the fair through the detection of a fire and its immediate reporting to the competent authorities.
We can conclude that the Portuguese participation in FIA 2024 was a success on all fronts! Together, we strengthened the position of national companies in the global market, promoting their access to international business opportunities and collaboration on technological innovation projects.
By participating in the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, national companies not only established significant contacts for their international development but also had the opportunity to interact and present their products and services directly to the main players in these sectors.
Such events are also an excellent opportunity to explore and broaden horizons. Besides their commercial aspect, they have an educational and innovative component, as they allow participants to learn about different companies with innovative products and services, stimulate the sharing of ideas, and provide a great opportunity to discover the latest innovations and technological developments in the market.
