AED Cluster Portugal was present at the Farnborough International Airshow and, in partnership with idD Portugal Defence, organised the group of national entities present at the event and the national stand, which served several of our companies and projected the image of Portugal.
During the week, there were several visits to the stand and the highlight was the “Portugal Day”, a cocktail reception supported by aicep Portugal Global (UK), where our Vice-President, José Rui Marcelino, and the President of idD Portugal Defence, Catarina Nunes, received Portuguese companies and international partners who stopped by the stand for a networking moment.
This was the post-pandemic return of one of the most important events for the Aeronautics, Space and Defence sectors, and we had two entities exhibiting their brand, products and services in the national booth: OGMA and the Invest in Alentejo initiative. The national delegation was composed by more than 15 companies that took advantage of this great opportunity to meet with many international agents and look for new business opportunities in one of the biggest industrial events in the world.
